About Our Company
Summit Construction Group is an Edina, Minnesota based General Contractor specializing in high end, luxury residential, and commercial exterior construction serving the greater Minnesota metro area. We have an extremely extensive portfolio of past projects that showcase custom installation of some of the highest grade materials on the market, as well as a production staff of elite team members who have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in exterior construction and love what they do.
General Information
We focus primarily on roofing, siding, windows, and gutters. We also offer coordination of courtesy services for active clients including: Painting, garage doors, tree removal, design services, and more. This allows our clients to get the most of their exterior work done by one general contractor.
We pride ourselves in specializing in installing certain materials that many other contractors may never get the opportunity to work with. Cedar shakes, composite roofing, hardboard siding, designer shingles, and custom copper metalwork fill our days.
Quality
We take material and installation quality extremely seriously, paying careful, attentive attention to detail. We have multiple people oversee our job sites. During builds, we have sales representatives check in at projects and production managers that visit and oversee job sites to help coordinate crews, check installation quality, and oversee complex projects. For specialty jobs, it is not uncommon to see the owners make site visits as well.
As a company we strive for responsiveness and clear communication because we believe that the homeowner experience is paramount. Our team is committed to follow through from start to finish and our goal is to exceed expectations whenever we can.

Summit Construction Group is a licensed and insured general contractor in the State of Minnesota. Lic #: BC760029 (Please note: To have an active GC license in MN you must have current liability, workers compensation insurance, and continuing education must be completed each year).
Summit Construction Group is an industry leader and is also in an elite class in terms of roofing certification.
GAF Master Elite Certification – Only 40 roofers in Minnesota have this certification.
Cedar Shake & Shingle Bureau Member – Only 12 contractors in Minnesota have this certification.
Davinci Masterpiece Certified – Only 4 contractors in Minnesota have this certification.
What type of work does Summit Construction Group not offer?
We do not build decks, landscaping, structural remodeling, interior remodels, screen replacement, or small window replacement jobs. We also try to refrain from installing vinyl windows.
We typically have a minimum of $10,000 and up for project size. Unfortunately, if people call us and need only small repairs, we are not able to perform small jobs only for the public.
