Design Services
Choosing corresponding siding, trim colors, and roof colors can be tricky. Always consider existing parts of your exterior that may not be getting replaced. If your fascia, soffit, or other trim is not being replaced, be sure to choose colors that work with those items and always keep brick, stucco, stonework, garage doors, and landscaping in mind. That being said, there are many options and choices which can be difficult to choose from without seeing how it might look. Luckily, we offer a range of options to help our clients see what these changes might look like prior to installation.
Services We Offer
Hover 360
This is a newer tool that we use very often. Hover creates a 3D scale model of your home and allows you to try different roof and siding combinations. Your Summit sales representative can assist you with creating mock-ups and also send you a link so you can create your own. Hover is geared towards roofing, siding, and trim. One thing to keep in mind is that some of the colors shown may be slightly different than real life. That being said it’s a very useful tool and is a free service offered at no additional cost!
Design Associate (Color and Texture Assistance)
If you would like a designer to come out to your home and offer direct assistance we do have some contacts that focus primarily on interior design but also do well with color and texture selection which can be of big help on exterior projects. Contact your sales representative for more details and we can get you in touch. Design fees will be charged separately.
Professional Exterior Rendering
For more detailed projects or drastic changes with multiple facets, a professional 3D digital rendering can be done. The rendering company can mock up just about any exterior ideas you come up with. Roofing, siding, brick, stucco, stone, garage doors, windows, trim, and more can be rendered down to the smallest details. Costs vary and typically run around $1,000 per home but depend on the size of the home and project. Usually 2-3 changes are included in the initial price.
